Our 10TH Anniversary Medal REVEALED

It’s been a decade in the making, but the moment has finally arrived! We’re thrilled to unveil the first look at the 10th anniversary edition medal which will be given to every Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 10k finisher on Sunday 23 February.

A decade ago, before the inaugural edition, we tucked away something special—a medal frozen inside a solid block of ice. For ten years, it has waited in cold storage for its moment to shine. Now, on the 10/10 (10th October), we’ve finally thawed this sparkling masterpiece. Only people who complete the challenge in person will be able to receive this reward, which will be waiting for them after completing their 10k landmark loaded adventure through the heart of London.

The 2025 design is inspired by the original 2015 medal, showcasing the iconic snowflake from the very first edition and carefully enhanced in every way. This one is more than just a medal —it’s a celebration of 10 years of conquering the cold, and all of you who’ve made this journey with us.

Plus, there is an opportunity to earn an additional bespoke medal by taking part for Cancer Research UK.
