How to get a Place in the 2026 London Winter Run 10k

Final preparations are in full swing for the 10th anniversary edition of the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run this Sunday. After this years sell out, we know many are already looking ahead to how they can be part of the action next year. We’re pleased to confirm that the next edition will take place on Sunday 15 February 2026.

We’d love for you to join us and experience this special day, so a few of the most popular questions are answered below.

HOW DO I GET A PLACE TO TAKE PART?

We have a strict capacity in place to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all. Allocations of places will be released in batches, with public places being available for a short launch window from Monday 24 February, these will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Those who leave their details will receive Early Access to places ahead of public release. To thank those who support the event by signing up early, the early allocations are priced lower, so this is the best opportunity to get a great deal.

CAN I TAKE PART FOR CANCER RESEARCH UK?

Absolutely! There are two ways to get involved:

A limited number of Exclusive Fundraiser places are available for those who commit to raising £175 for Cancer Research UK. As a thank you, you’ll get a discounted entry, a special bonus medal, and access to a VIP marquee on event day.

Alternatively, everyone who signs up for the 2026 event will automatically be created a Winter Run profile. Fundraising is optional, but if you choose to, you can unlock incredible rewards along the way.

ARE THERE ANY OTHER WAYS TO GET INVOLVED?

We’re always on the lookout for incredible volunteers who help make the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run possible.

Check out our volunteer page to sign up and explore our exciting roles. Whether you’re a High-Fiving Husky, a Dancing Penguin, or a Celebratory Polar Bear at the Finish Area, there’s a role for everyone!
